Carlisle Cosmetics, singer at the Flaming Wing
Restaurant, widow at 21, husband Jonathan
Carlisle, was murdered in cold blood by gang-bangers
who remain at large. Seeking justice against her
husband's killers. Skilled practitioner of Tae
Kwon Do, Rival to Jin Moon Kim, who
desires Serena. Jin Moon nearly raped Serena at Master
Lee's dojo. First appearance: Serenade #0.
Jonathan
Carlisle (Deceased)
Founder and
former owner Carlisle Cosmetics, discovered Serena
Park while on a business trip in Seoul, South Korea fell
in love with Serena and made her the spokes model for Carlisle cosmetics.
Carlisle married Serena, returning
to Chicago for their honeymoon, Carlisle is gunned
down by seven gang-bangers who are still at large.
First appearance: Serenade #0. Last: Serenade #6.
Jin Moon Kim born
in Pusan, North Korea, little is known about Jin's
life, except that he is/was a thief. Years later
after coming to America, Kim joined Master Lee's school of Tae Kwon
Do, and quickly became master student. Kim
believes Serena "impure" due to her
marriage to Carlisle, desires to have Serena
and has made several advances towards Serena
the most recent, a sexual assault
discovered by Master Lee. First Appearance: Serenade
#3
Albert Brandenburg Chauffer
/ assistant to Jonathan Carlisle for many years. Carlisle
upon marrying Serena, secretly gave instruction to
Albert regarding Serena. Well versed and knowledgeable about
Carlisle Cosmetics, foreign languages including Korean,
Albert serves as interpreter, spokesman for Serena in regards
to Carlisle Cosmetics, and assistant to Serena in personal
and legal affairs. First appearance: Serenade #5
Mike Deltoro current
owner of the Flaming Wing Restaurant, a renovated 1920 era
lounge that was destroyed, and rumored to be haunted. The
band: The Entities perform at the Flaming Wing. Deltoro,
recently put up a sign for a new singer due to a recent drop
in patrons. Serena, under the advice of Albert, seeks solace
in her mourning of Carlisle's death and asks about the
position. Deltoro upon seeing and hearing Serena hires her
right away. First appearance: Serenade #8.
Min Jong Park: Mother to
Serena. Min Jong met Steven Langston in 19xx while Langston
was stationed in xxxxx. A romance kindled between Min Jong
and Langston, despite Korean culture prejudices towards
Americans. The relationship turned physical, Min Jong kept
the thier relationship secret out of fear of being shunned by
Korean society.
